All indices closed in green, where banking index climbed by 1.28%, hotels (0.91%), hydro (0.75%), development banks (0.61%) and life insurance (0.45%).
Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower remained the top gainer, rising by 4.93%, followed by Sindhu Bikash (4.22%) and Solu Hydropower (4.05%).
On the losing side, prices of Ridge Line Energy, ICFC Finance, and Prime Debenture fell by 7.85%, 2.90% and 2.86% respectively.
With NRs 211.13 million, Kumari bank had the largest turnover, followed by Ghalemdi Hydro amounting to NRs 203.76 million and Himalayan Distillery at NRs 188.78 million.
This week, the benchmark index declined by 25.53 points (1%) closing at 2,591.80 compared to last week's closing of 2,613.33 points. Similarly, weekly turnover decreased by 18.08% this week.
