Design Disco 2025 | Leapfrog Tech | AI & AX | Nepal Design | Innovation
Leapfrog Technology Inc., a Nepal-based global AI and technology partner for startups and enterprises, has wrapped up the fourth edition of its flagship design networking event, Design Disco, supported by Amazon Web Services, the company said in a press release. The gathering at Supper Club in Thamel, Kathmandu, drew more than 150 designers, developers, and creative professionals.
This year’s theme, ‘The Digital Me’, explored how personalisation, context-aware experiences, spatial design, and invisible interfaces are reshaping human interaction with technology, the release said.
Speakers included Abhash Bikram Thapa, director of design at Leapfrog; Jayasri Nagrale, senior product designer at Microsoft; Deepshikha Yadav, founder of World We Desire; and Bidhan Rajbhandari, governor at Ad Club Nepal.
The press release noted that discussions went beyond traditional automation, emphasising the creation of Agentic Experiences (AX), where AI becomes an extension of the user, enabling designers to pursue ambitious projects without coding expertise.
“Design is no longer just about what we see on the screen; it now incorporates experiential engagement, especially with AI in the mix,” said Abhash Bikram Thapa, also keynote speaker and organising team lead. “We are thrilled with this year’s attendance, which surpassed the previous three editions, and I’m confident it highlighted the next frontier of human-centered digital design.”

Reflecting on the event, speaker Deepshikha Yadav said, “Everything was thoughtfully designed, from the venue to the presentations. The theme ‘The Digital Me’ covered multiple dimensions, from accessibility to marketing. Loved the vibe, the audience, and the duration.”

Recognised as a premier platform for Nepal’s design community, the release claims, Design Disco continues to foster collaboration, innovation, and dialogue across the design and development ecosystem through thematic talks, presentations, and networking opportunities.
