Kandara Live

Kandara, the legendary rock band behind the iconic hits like “Hongkong Pokhara,” “Lekaki Hey Maya,” and “Tagaroma Rumal Rakhi” is set to perform live this week at Club NOVA, Thamel bringing their timeless music back to the stage. Formed in the 1990s the band that blended folk tunes with modern pop has now crossed over three decades in the music scene.

Love of 90s: Fall in Love, All Over Again

Here’s something to look forward to if you’re a 90s kid or simply love 90s bollywood music. With a theme of love and nostalgia, MAD Entertainments presents a musical evening celebrating the legendary hits of Vinod Rathod, an Indian Playback singer alongside the energy of Nepali pop artist, Anish Okely. This revitalised edition of “Love of 90s” is about to take place at LOD, Thamel.

13th International Nepal Tattoo Convention

The annual International Nepal Tattoo Convention is back, now in its 13th edition. 

One of the pioneering events that bring together tattoo artists across the subcontinent, the event is hosted by Nepal Tattoo Pvt Ltd. The mission is to promote art, and artists while creating a space for enthusiasts and art critics. The event also features cultural exchange through music, dance, costumes, and, of course, tattoo art and storytelling.

Like a rising river

An art exhibition is here, highlighting the stories of women’s labor, knowledge, leadership, and resilience from Bagmati, Sudurpaschi, Karnali and Madhesh provinces. The exhibition features the work of 15 artists. It is organised by Srijanalaya Nepal, in collaboration with UN Women and the Government of Finland.

Art Kathmandu 2026

Another exhibition showcasing Nepal’s diverse art scene opens this week. Featuring over 100 artists from established names to emerging talents, the show presents a wide variety of works, from traditional painting styles like Thangka and Paubha to three-dimensional pieces in ceramics, intaglio prints and more. The exhibition is organised by an art gallery namely Ri Mo Kathmandu.
