It’s a heavy day as Asha Bhosle, one of the world’s most iconic voices, has passed away. the_farsight pays its respect.

On another note, the New Year is just around the corner, bringing plenty of ways to celebrate and start fresh.

Khorlo/Wheel

Tampa Gallery is hosting an art exhibition featuring the works of Choenyi Dolma, Tashi Druketsang, Tashi Nyima, and Tenzin Melak. The exhibition is curated by Tenzin Gyurmey.
“Khorlo, the Tibetan word for “wheel” evokes cyclical movement, an endless turning where beginnings and endings dissolve into continuity. It also suggests interdependence: a structure in which each element exists in relation to others. In this sense, Khorlo becomes both a philosophical symbol and a poetic metaphor for the shifting nature of identity,” explains a statement from the exhibition.
