Archive Nepal Manuscript Digitization 

With the aim of preserving, digitising, and democratising Nepal’s endangered manuscripts, Archive Nepal, in collaboration with UNESCO, has launched “Project Manuscript.”

The initiative marks a significant step in transforming fragile physical texts, including Ranjana, Bhujimol, and Prachalit scripts, into accessible digital knowledge. The event will feature a Rare Manuscripts Exhibition, Documentary Premiere, Panel Discussion, and a Live Transcribathon.

The Craft of Writing

An immersive writing awaits you this week. Quixote's Cave, a literary hub in Lalitpur is organising “The Craft of Writing: A Creative Writing Workshop 2026” in collaboration with La.Lit, a literary magazine. 
Designed for writers at every stage, the workshop encourages the participants to strengthen their craft, discover their voice, and connect with a community. Guided by Samrat Upadhyay and three other facilitators, it offers a space for meaningful discussion and constructive feedback.

Across mythologies, animals have been seen as guides, guardians, companions, and symbols of transformation. Beyond stories and symbolism, they remain deeply and naturally connected to our cultures, ecosystems, and everyday lives.

“Mythical Real Narratives of Coexistence and Transformation” is an exhibition worth checking out, which explores the mysterious connection between animals and humans, both mythical and real, while portraying the stories of coexistence. 

The exhibition offers diverse artistic perspectives, inviting viewers to reflect on imagination, representation, and the ways we understand and explore a world beyond humans.

The exhibition started July 17 and continues till August 17.
