With the new government announcing the national budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 on May 29 and the PM finally addressing the parliament, plenty of interpretations and analysis are expected in the week ahead.

TEDx Bhrikutimandap

The TEDx event, a platform for sharing ideas and stories, is taking place this week with eight speakers from diverse backgrounds coming together for a day of inspiring conversations. The speakers include founder of Swarnam Theatre, co-founders of Puppeteer Lounge, former senior vice-president of Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal, Menstrual Health and Dignity Activist, Transgender Rights Activist and several other remarkable speakers. 

Through their stories and insights, the speakers will explore the theme of “Envisioning Tomorrow”.

Celebrating 85 years of Bob Dylan

Whether you’re a Dylan fan or simply a music enthusiast, SUPPER CLUB is celebrating the legacy of the legendary American singer-songwriter, widely regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Even after decades, Dylan’s music continues to influence and inspire generations of listeners. 

Join this tribute to his music on Saturday, June 6, for an evening dedicated to his timeless songs.

Patan Night 2026

Entertainment, food, culture all come together as JCI Patan organises a charity based musical and food fest night this Friday. The event will feature live performances, cultural performances, food and local cuisines, youth engagement activities and social awareness and charity campaigns. The event aims to support differently abled students, provide kindergarten educational toys and learning materials to Patan High School. 

Everyone including youth, families, food enthusiasts, musicians, social leaders, are welcomed to celebrate while contributing to a good cause.

Introvert Circle

Introvert Circle is a curated space for introverts. Recognising that introverts often face pressure to speak and rarely find spaces that accommodate them, Introvert Circle offers a welcoming environment free from any expectation to talk or perform. Participants can enjoy warm tea, gentle reflection prompts, quiet connection and simply being present.

Photo Embroidery Workshop

Kalashala, an art center, is back with a workshop. This time, it’s a photo embroidery workshop that introduces participants with basic techniques and stitches of embroidery while teaching them how embroidery can be turned into an artistic expression. Participants will also be assigned a creative project transforming their personal photographs into unique embroidery art.

Stories of Entreprenaaris
